UDG is the civil engineering subconsultant to ROMA on this City of Austin project which consists of the creation of a twenty-year vision for the development of downtown Austin, including affordable housing opportunitiies and funding recommendations for implementing infrastructure improvements and zoning recommendations to encourage increased density.

UDG's role in the plan is to examine environmental watershed conditions, infrastructure, transportation networks and to analyze previous downtown studies to provide recommendations to the City for future planng, and development of a strategy for a Downtown Austin Plan. UDG has also been responsible for preparation of preliminary cost estimates for infrastructure upgrades. Phase 1 of the project, the Issues and Opportunities Report, has been completed.
