|This project consisted of the construction of an 8,000 square foot customer center and associated parking lot, and new South Parking Garage located at the R&D Facility.
UDG provided civil engineering services for the design and construction. Services included feasibility study to analyze development constraints, surveying and design of site grading, utility and drainage improvements. UDG prepared all construction documents to obtain site development permits for construction of the parking garage, new customer center, drainage utility and water quality improvements. This project was complicated by the existence of an approved PUD site plan for current and future phases. Work required revision to that plan with redesign of future water quality ponds and drainage facilities. UDG staff worked with the client and City of Austin to obtain approval of revisions within an accelerated time schedule.
