Bee Creek Sewer & Drainage
College Station, Texas
Before
After
The project consisted of a wastewater rehabilitation project for the City of College Station.

UDG provided all surveying, analysis, and design of 4,000 linear feet of wastewater line replacement and channel stabilization within an existing neighborhood. Improvements included varying widths of concrete pilot channel and replacement of 12" sanitary sewer and bores under three street crossings. Construction phase services included construction administration, construction supervision, and public relations for adjoining 110 property owners for the twelve-month construction period. Soils in the area are highly erodible which resulted in exposed utility lines and increased sediment load on downstream areas. Due to limited right-of-way and the channel location in residential backyards, a concrete pilot channel was chosen to insure a stable flowline avoiding the severe erosion previously experienced at these locations.
