Boone Elementary
and Hart Elementary School

The Boone Elementary School, an existing AISD School located in South Austin, was experiencing drainage problems around the buildings which were causing foundation damage. UDG provided surveying and engineering design for a complete storm water collection system for the project. Drainage was collected through downspouts on the new roof and piped to the existing pond.

Hart Elementary School is located on a 15.7 acre site. The 69,839 s.f building has a designed capacity for 760 students. UDG's work consisted of the preparation of plans for site grading, parking, drainage, erosion and sedimentation control, tree protection and the water and wastewater utilities. UDG also prepared and processed documents for the vacation of adjacent right of way. UDG received approval for these plans through the City of Austin for a site development permit.
