Williamson County, Texas
|The 33 acre Champion Park sits along the Williamson County Regional Trail approximately half way between the trailhead at Brushy Creek Road and Great Oaks Drive and the trail's current end at the City of Cedar Park's Brushy Creek Lake Park. The park is home to a large picnic pavilion, children's area, bridge across Brushy Creek, restrooms and parking.
Urban Design Group provided civil engineering services for the park including base map preparation, design of culvert crossing improvements, preparation of Williamson County and Cedar Park plans and permits for water and wastewater plan, grading plan, erosion and sedimentation control plan, accessibility compliance and parking lot layout. Work included completion of a contributing zone plan for TCEQ, and coordination with the Corps of Engineers as necessary for creek crossing and construction phase services.
