Convention Center Chilled Water Lines

UDG was responsible for the design and preparation of the entire set of construction plans, including plan/profile, traffic control, construction method details, tree protection and erosion control of chilled water lines in downtown Austin for Austin Energy.

Urban Design Group provided design of approximately 7759 l.f. of 24", 28" and 30" chilled water lines for the Austin Convention Center. The design of the parallel waterlines included a route through an abandoned 66" water line under the new Convention Center expansion. Design required coordination of existing and proposed utilities within Third Street, San Antonio Street and Red River Street.
