UDG prepared streets, drainage, water, wastewater and water quality plans for the 40 acre, single family subdivision in South Austin. The improvements consisted of 3,000 L.F. of new roadways, 2,950 L.F. of new wastewater lines, and 2,500 L.F. of new water lines. UDG provided all surveying which included tree and topographic survey. The construction document preparation was complicated by the existence of three petro-chemical pipelines. The design also required setbacks from a critical environmental feature located on this SOS Compliant site. The project is also located over the Edwards Aquifer Recharge Area which required preparation of a Pollution Abatement Plan that was processed through TCEQ. The planning of the project required coordination and integration into the adjacent neighborhoods and roadway network. UDG obtained all permits required for the construction of this subdivision as well as providing construction phase services.
