| This project consisted of the construction of a 528 unit multifamily apartment complex in 28 buildings on a 26.7 acre tract located in South Austin. UDG provided all surveying and engineering design for all site improvements including drives, parking areas, three on-site detention/water quality ponds, storm sewer system and water distribution and wastewater collection system. The project was coordinated with the design of adjacent Little Texas roadway.
June Routh, Urban Design Group, served as project manager and designed the on-site and off-site wastewater system which included 3800 l.f. of 8 inch wastewater main and 800 l.f. of 10 inch wastewater main. The 10 inch main was constructed within the Little Texas Lane R.O.W. and on an adjacent private property with a wastewater easement. Ms. Routh was responsible for the preparation and approval of a final plat for the tract. Subdivision approval required submittal and processing through the City of Austin, responding to all comments and approval by the Platting and Zoning Commission. She prepared construction plans for all site grading, drainage, water quality, erosion control and water and wastewater plans. The project required that Ms. Routh work closely with the architect, MEP and structural engineers on this project. Ms. Routh provided construction phase services for the construction of the apartments and adjacent Little Texas Roadway. |
