| Southwest Trails Apartments is a 160-unit multifamily, seventeen building development on a 27.88 acre site in South Austin. The improvements included a clubhouse and pool, an on-site learning center and a separate laundry/maintenance building. The Southwest Trails Apartment project is the first affordable housing project west of Mo-Pac and the first project completed under the City of Austin SMART Housing Program.
UDG provided all surveying and engineering design for the project. Surveying included tree, topographic, and boundary. UDG prepared a final plat for the project and processed it through the City of Austin for approval. UDG prepared construction plans for all site grading, drainage and utility improvements. As the site is located in the environmentally sensitive "Barton Springs Zone" the water quality design included a sedimentation pond and a reirrigtion system. UDG permitted the project through the City of Austin and provided construction phase services. |
