| San Jose Hotel was originally a travel court on the old San Antonio Highway (South Congress.) The redevelopment required additional parking which was obtained on an adjacent lot. The parking lot was further enhanced by a walk-up coffee/pastry shop (Jo’s) with outdoor seating. The completed project provides forty motel rooms in an improved garden setting.
UDG provided civil engineering services including grading and drainage and erosion/sedimentation control. UDG also assisted in obtaining a permit for the coffee shop by processing variances required to allow construction at the property line and for on-street parking. |
