| Urban Design Group served as the project manager for the West Bull Creek Regional Water System. The 18 million dollar project was funded through a public/private contract with financing provided by the City of Austin and 20 different private developers. The water facilities constructed included 13 miles of transmission main, a 11,000 gpm pump station, a 12,000 gpm pump station, a 3 MG ground storage reservoir, a 7 MG ground storage reservoir, and a 1 MG elevated reservoir.
Urban Design Group provided project development services that included program management, water system modeling, regional utility planning and design, and coordination with the private sector. Engineering services provided by Urban Design Group included design of transmission main improvements, design of the two ground storage tanks and the two pump stations, and design of the reservoir tank. Design work for selected transmission main projects completed by other engineering consultants was coordinated and contracted by Urban Design Group. |
