| The Lake Georgetown Trail and Rivery Park project consists of approximately two and a half miles of new pedestrian/bicycle trail improvements (combination of concrete, asphalt and nature trails) and associated drainage crossings and erosion controls along the north fork of the San Gabriel River.
UDG served as civil subconsultant to RVI on this project. The project includes two new low water crossing structures across the river. In addition, UDG designed local culvert crossings of the drainageways crossing the trail. UDG prepared plans and processed them through the City of Georgetown, the TCEQ (for the Water Pollution Abatement Plan), and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (for authorization under the Nationwide 404 Permit). UDG will provide construction phase services. The project is currently under construction with an estimated completion date of July, 2005. |
